Almost 2 Months old

I have caught him blowing bubbles, which is apparently a sign of strong language development skills. That isn't surprising being that he has been making noises from day one. His noises are evolving, though. Less grunting or throaty noises and more cooing, slurring, vowel sounds and laughter (sort-of). He's also been doing an excellent job of getting his fist to his mouth, as new photos and video will attest. He is also beginning to reject the pacifier a lot. And this is ok by mommy. He is still not grabbing onto toys yet, but we keep practicing. And we've discovered new uses for the boppy pillow - tummy time exercise and straight chillin' (see photos). AND he slept for 8 hours straight last night! wooohooo! ... and he's so cute!!!!

Talks, farts, hicups, and coos, too!

New Friends

Gabriel is getting to know Sophie the Girraffe and Mr.Frog. He hasn't really gotten comfortable with Sophie yet, but he loved meeting Mr.Frog. Mr.Frog gave him kisses and Gabriel smiled and smiled!
