Mad Love

I don't know if this happens with all babies, but when I go outside with Gabriel, he gets loads of attention. Strangers try to touch him, talk to him, adjust his hat (?!), etc. Today a little boy tried to hug him while I had him in the carrier. But mostly he gets comments. For example, we walked around today for about an hour and about 10 people said something about/to him (EX: 'oh my lord, I'm going to take you home with me' or 'look at that face, so adorable') and at least 12 more people looked at him and smiled as we walked by. They seem wildly attracted to him. Anyway, just thought I'd put that out there. Gabriel gets mad love in the street!

revision

Scratch that last post - just hours after i wrote that, Gabriel managed to get his left foot into his mouth. Had trouble holding it there to suck on, but there was definately some tongue toe contact. :)

updates

Gabriel is now fully rolling over in both directions. Not sitting up on his own for more than 30 seconds, but still working on it. He discovered his feet recently, and loves playing with them. -but hasn't yet gotten those in his mouth. We think he may also be starting to teethe. Every few days he goes crazy trying to gnaw on everything he can and getting frustrated by it, but not stopping. Monday was the worst yet, he had a hard time sleeping and feeding. finally at night we gave him some baby tylenol and it relieved him noticeably and he managed to sleep normally for the night. so, we are waiting to greet teeth.
